Well I started this blog on Tuesday as it's rare a day passes without me designing something, whether it be a website, emailer, logo or research into user experience.
The aim is to update my blog with the creative dribbles of my daily life as a Freelance Graphic Designer, working in London so that not only can I look back and see what I have achieved, but also to inspire others in to the world of design and working independently as I quite simply couldn't be happier with where I am in my 'career' right now, I say 'career' because it's true that my work doesn't feel like a job because I enjoy it so much.
Yesterday, I visited Hardy Amies, menswear tailor based on Savile Row, London. I work with them very closely on their graphics and marketing and moving forward I will be adding two further services to the mix; UX/UI & Art Direction.
UX/UI (User Experience / User Interface)
The project will start during May 2018, the aim is to further identify the 'problem' the business is solving and exactly who this is being solved for. Research will be conducted in both qualitative and quantitate methods to gain a granular understanding into custom needs, desires and pain points. This information will then be translated into wireframes and finally a justified user interface to heal pain points and improve customer satisfaction and interaction - I can't wait!

I will be managing the AW18 Hardy Amies Art Direction. The shoot is to take place in June 2018, and as an Art Director I meet with the CEO on a weekly basis to sign off on themes, models, locations, props, budgets, photographers - you name it! Photography is a love of mine, my mother was a professional abstract photographer and I always have a feeling of joy when I show her what photoshoots I have been involved in.
